River Snook Fishing Charters

Several brackish rivers flow a short drive from Sarasota and offer a unique experience. Snook migrate up the rivers in the cooler months and can be caught by anglers casting shallow diving plugs or by fly fishermen. Visiting bass and musky fishermen will enjoy this experience; the scenery is great and the fishing can be terrific for a client seeking a trophy snook. Bass, juvenile tarpon, gar, and other species will also be caught. I use a 14’ Alumacraft Jon boat for this trip, due to limited access and shallow water.
